Visible Favorited Gear is an old mod that had very few capabilities. It was a very simple mod, and required you to equip yourself with enchanted items when you spawned, meaning that it was basically a very tedious way of getting around the game without much choice. Thankfully, someone saw the need to make this experience better, so they have developed Visible Favorited Gear SE.

Visible Favorited Gear is my favorite case mod, simply because it does exactly what it says it will do - it makes your favorite items visible on your character! I've used this immensely, especially while questing, as a lot of my gear ended up in the trash can because I didn't bother to load it before I died or left a city. But using Visible Favorited Gear allows me to load up my inventory screen, take an item out, and have my favorite gear literally at my fingertips while questing or going around a city. Visible Favorited Gear is also great for players who like to dual wield weapons. Because it allows you to switch back to your favored weapon when you're done, it prevents you from suffering damage when you don't have your weapon drawn. It also makes the game a lot more challenging when you know you have a powerful weapon at your disposal, but you can't use it to its full potential, because it's not in your inventory menu.
